Baker Law Firm, P.C., was founded in 1997. The firm engages primarily in civil related matters with an emphasis in real estate matters and civil litigation. The firm encourages active community involvement, sponsoring a myriad of local activities. The firm's founding member, Mark Baker, is currently serving in his second term as a Representative in the Mississippi House of Representatives. Currently he is also serving as Republican Leader of the Mississippi House Republican Conference. The firm also encourages continuing professional development and all attorneys participate in continuing legal education seminars, professional association activities and other civic affairs.
This firm provides representation in many areas including general tort litigation and workers' compensation, and in the areas of municipal law and general commercial and business and construction contract litigation.
